Innovative Airlite triple layer system
The outer layer is made of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), formed into a mesh for lightness.
A different form of EVA is used for the inner layer. Several cycles of development has resulted in the distinctive design, of oval holes and shaped raised areas.
This shaping minimises weight, while generating channelling for air, to keep the leg cool and dry, and helping to disperse shockwaves.
These two layers of EVA provide effective protection against both concussion and penetration injuries.
This protection is further enhanced by a strip of polycarbonate inserted down the back of the boot, inside the mesh, to protect vulnerable tendons.
Between the two EVA layers is a fine mesh, to prevent dirt getting inside the boot.

FAQs
Can the Tri-zone® Over Reach Boots be worn 24 hours a day?
As with any product, the Tri-zone® Over Reach Boots should be
removed daily and the hoof/heel checked for any signs of rubbing
or irritation. It is also very important that the inside of the boots are
kept clean to prevent chafing.
How do I know I have the correct size? If you fi nd that the boots are
moving up and down as the horse moves then they are too big. Try
overlapping the edges and the straps to tighten the boot, however
if the back edge of the boot is still in direct contact with the ground
the boot is too big for the horse. Try the next size down. Equally, if
the straps do not do up at the front then the boot is too small.

Care Instructions
Hand wash in lukewarm water using mild detergent. Do not
tumble dry or dry over direct heat such as radiators. For stubborn
stains, use a stain removal bar of soap such as Vanish. Rinse
thoroughly.

The design of the ducts on Tri-Zone® Vented Tendon Boots have been
shown in independent laboratory tests to facilitate the expulsion of
heat and moisture, as the horse moves.
FAQs
Can I turn my horse out in the Vented Tendon Boots? but for no more
than 2-3 hours at a time. If used for turnout, they should be combined
with the Tri-Zone® Over Reach Boot.
Can I use the Tri-zone® Tendon Boot for cross-country schooling? We
would not recommend the use of any open-fronted boot for cross
country jumping as there is no protection to the front of the cannon
bone should the horse hit a solid fence. Tri-Zone® Cross Country boots
have been especially designed for this purpose, to give the highest levels
of protection while helping to keep the leg cool during arduous exercise.
Alternatively, where a lighter boot is required, the new Tri-Zone®
Allsports Boot offers good protection and much reduced weight.
